This small, existing Carmichael backyard was renovated - keeping primarily just the pool and trees. I had lots of different areas to work with. Some areas were sunnier, some shadier. The homeowners were after a colorful, perennial,"cottage" look. The results were achieved!

This colorful, low border of perennial shrubs was designed for a home in El Dorado Hills. The plants border the lawn, love the sun and do not obstruct the beautiful view below the hill. The plants include agapanthus, lavender, rockrose and iceplant.
